Tulsa, Okla. — A police chase begins after a car burglary at the Promenade Mall near 4100 South Yale.

A mall security guard had called police at 12:10 a.m. Monday after he saw a man breaking into a vehicle and get into the car before speeding away southbound.

KRMG spoke with TPD Cpl. Shawn Kite after the incident.

He said, “We had a short pursuit that went from 41st and Yale or Darlington down to about 46th and Darlington.”

The pursuit ended when the suspect bailed at the Magnolia Manor Apartments.

Investigators say he ran away to an apartment where he could hide.

The suspect was not found after the burglary.
