TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Police say a man was shot in the chest after an argument early Saturday morning at a home in Midtown Tulsa.

Police responded to the 300 block South Zunis Ave near East 36th St. and South Lewis around 5:30 a.m to reports of shots fired.

Officers learned upon arrival that the victim had been transported by friends to a nearby hospital.

Investigators say they are now interviewing witnesses.

They believe there has been ongoing feud between the suspect and the victim.

One witness allegedly told police they were at a party earlier in the night and some car windows were broken out.

Police were told the victim was expecting a fist fight but upon arrival both the suspect and victim allegedly produced pistols and pointed at them at each other for a few minutes, before both men shot at one another.

The victim was hit in the chest and the suspect fled the scene.

Officers are currently searching for the suspect.

The man who was shot is in stable condition.
