‘Reservation Dogs’ wins two awards at the 2022 Independent Spirit Awards

“Reservation Dogs” has won big at the 2022 Independent Spirit Awards.

The series, which is filmed in Okmulgee, won Best New Scripted Series and Best Ensemble Cast in a New Scripted Series.

It was created by Oklahoma native Sterlin Harjo and Oscar winner Taika Waititi. “Reservation Dogs” has been renewed for a second season, but a release date has not yet been announced.
