Fri, Nov 3, 2017 — In 2017 alone, two deputies and six detention officers employed by the Tulsa County Sheriff's office have been arrested.
The crimes run the gambit from larceny to felony lewd molestation of a minor.
Casey Roebuck with the sheriff's office says each employee goes through a tough hiring process and they have nothing to hide.
“I don’t know what more we could do to be honest,” Roebuck said. “Our application process is pretty exhaustive.”
Justin Green with the sheriff’s office adds they have one of the larger law enforcement organizations in the state and with that comes unfortunate mishaps with employees.
