Disturbing new details are emerging regarding disgraced former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle.

NYpost.com reports the convicted pedophile specifically requested 14-year-old Asian girls because, according to some just-released text messages, that's "what I crave."

TMZ reports the US attorney revealed the messages Fogle sent to a woman who reportedly solicited girls for his entertainment.

Fogle was sentenced to more than 15 years in prison for trading in child pornography and paying for sex with underage girls.

Fogle is asking an appeals court to toss out the sentence, claiming the judge should not have sentenced him to more than the max recommended in the plea deal -- 12 1/2 years.

In his plea deal in November, Fogle admitted that he had sex at New York City hotels with two girls under age 18 — one of whom was 16 at the time — and paid them for that sex.

He also acknowledged receiving child pornography produced by Russell Taylor, the former executive director of The Jared Foundation, a nonprofit Fogle started to raise awareness and money to fight childhood obesity.
