There was some good news today for Tulsa when it comes to the hard-hit airline business.
Allegiant Air today is kicking off a new summer nonstop flight from Tulsa to Nashville, which might surprise some people, given all the trouble that Covid-19 has caused.
“But it's also good news because it means the airlines have seen enough advance bookings to keep the flight in the schedule,” said Tulsa Airport spokesman Andrew Pierini.
He says Tulsa hasn't lost any routes permanently because of Covid-19.
He says many routes that were put on hold during the past few months will start to come back in July and August.
The flight will run twice weekly, on Thursdays and Sundays, from June 4, 2020 to August 16, 2020.
