Gun enthusiasts looking to add to their collection or make some cash will have that opportunity this weekend.
The Metcalf Gun and Knife Show is Saturday and Sunday at the Exchange Center at the Tulsa Fairgrounds.
Organizer Warren Metcalf expects a huge crowd in part because gun owners are nervous that Barack Obama may be reelected. “I think there is uncertainty on what will happen if there’s a second Obama administration. He (Obama) has said he’s working on gun control under the radar previously.”
Metcalf expects to be busy this weekend. “I expect the Exchange Center to be packed, wall to wall. People can bring out firearms and sell them. There will be over 20,000 new and used firearms for sale this weekend, all under one roof.”
Doors are open Saturday from 9-to-5, and Sunday from 10-to-4.
Tickets are $13 for adults. Children 12 and under get in free.
