Tulsa Police Chief announces release of TPD Annual Report

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Police Chief Wendell Franklin announced the release of the department’s annual report.

Franklin says it has been more than 15 years since the Tulsa Police Department produced an annual report. Budget and staff reductions forced the cancellation of this insightful, historical document.

In spite of a pandemic, the Tulsa Police Department says they are continuing to advance the professionalism of law enforcement. The 2019 Tulsa Police Department Annual Report is one of those advancements and is now available to the public.

In the announcement, Franklin says it is important to note this report was conceptualized, organized, and published internally by police officers and staff members of the Tulsa Police Department. They plan to build off the concept of this publication for future transparency pieces into the Tulsa Police Department.

He says this endeavor is simple, show the community the great work occurring within TPD and build off those positive attributes, emphasizing they are one community, one Tulsa.

Here are the links for the reports, the links will be available through January 31st, 2021:
