A Tulsa woman shoots her husband in the chest after telling police her life was in danger .
The shooting happened in the 500 block of South Yale just after 3:00a.m. Sunday.
Police say the husband--who was recently released from prison was taken to a hospital in stable conditon.
Investigators later determined the gun used in the shooting was stolen.
