Kerry Vincent traveled far and wide from her native Australia, living in nine different countries before finally settling down in Tulsa about 30 years ago.
A self-taught cake designer, she created the Oklahoma State Sugar Art Show and built it into the largest show of its kind in the world.
She travels around the world, teaching, hosting events, and spreading her love of the art of baking.
She appeared on 73 episodes of Food Network Challenge as a judge, a gig she won after a Food Network Crew filmed her at the Sugar Art Show in Tulsa.
Now, she will host her own Food Network show, called "Save My Bakery."
Bakeries that have "gone stale" will turn to her to help them reinvigorate their recipes, modernize their ambience, and in many cases, rebuild the familial and business relationships at the core of the failing bakeries.
She told KRMG that while she can't offer any details, three of the bakeries featured in the first season are located in Oklahoma.
That was important to her, because Oklahoma has been good to Kerry, she says, and she wants to give back.
