TULSA, Okla. — A man is dead after he was hit by a car on I-44 near Lewis Thursday morning.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) said the man was trying to cross the interstate at 2:45 a.m. He was hit by a 54-year-old man driving a Chevrolet Spark.
OHP said the driver of the car stayed at the scene and was cooperative.
