Man stabbed told police he was in a fight behind a Tulsa Walmart

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police responded to a stabbing Tuesday morning in midtown Tulsa.

The stabbing victim knocked on the door of a house near East 39th Street and South Peoria Avenue, asking for help.

The homeowner did not open the door, and called police.

When police got to the scene, the victim had several cuts on his arms and legs.

The victim told police he had gotten in a fight with another man about a woman behind a nearby Walmart Neighborhood Marketplace.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
