TULSA, Okla. — Tara L Erwin-Grna is a local workout instructor who enjoys using her dance moves to give back to the community.

Oct. 28 will mark her 8th year putting on the Party in Pink Zumbathon Fundraiser during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Survivors, supporters, and caretakers will take the dance floor at the Scissortail Ballroom and Event Center this Friday at 6:30 p.m. Attendees are strongly encouraged to wear pink.

“We’ve got about 13 instructors that are coming together to support this cause,” said Erwin-Grna. “It’s very near and dear to my heart. My best friend Kimberly is a breast cancer survivor. It’s been about eight years now. We’ve got four survivors that are going to be here. It’s going to be an incredible night!”

Tara adds that there will also be a silent auction, with amazing services and items that have been donated to the cause.

All proceeds will be split equally between the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Foundation and Project 31.
