LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Matthew Mindler, a former child actor known for his role in the movie “Our Idiot Brother,” was found dead Saturday at 19.
He had been reported missing since Thursday.
Millersville University, where he had recently started his freshman year, confirmed his death.
“Our thoughts of comfort and peace are with his friends and family during this difficult time,” university president Daniel A. Wubah said in a statement. “This is a time of grief for the family, our campus and the community. I ask that the campus community come together to support each other, and our students, during this difficult time.”

Mindler’s body was found in Manor Township near campus. A coroner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
He was last seen leaving his dorm room around 8 p.m. Aug. 24, the Morning Call reported. He was not in classes the next day.

Mindler, who has not acted in a few years, is known for his role in the 2011 Paul Rudd movie “Our Idiot Brother.”
