Tulsa police arrest man and woman on drug and gun charges

TULSA, Okla. — A man and a woman were arrested Friday afternoon after Tulsa police say they found 15 firearms and variety of drugs in their home and car.

Around 3:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon, Tulsa Police attempted a traffic stop on a Kia Soul. Police said the driver, Jequeaz Johnson, failed to yield and continued to his home, near 31st and Memorial.

Police said when Johnson opened the car door, they saw a pistol inside the car. Police searched the car and found an ounce of methamphetamine.

Police also said when Johnson was arrested, cocaine was found in his shoe.

According to police, Shari Alspach came out of the home after they knocked. Police questioned Alspach about drugs and guns inside the home.

Police said Alspach consented to a search and gave them keys to a safe room and combinations to safes inside the home.

According to police, the search revealed “significant quantities” of methamphetamine, Xanax, cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, marijuana, THC vapes and THC wax. Police also found 15 firearms, ammunition, and more than $20,000 in drug proceeds.

When Alspach was arrested, police said they found an ounce of methamphetamine in her bra.

Police believe Alspach and Johnson were supplying drugs that were sold from motels, and on the streets, near 31st and Memorial.

Alspach and Johnson arrested on drug and firearm charges. Police said additional drug trafficking charges are expected after officers complete the investigation.
