Zarkeshan returned home to Tulsa on Oct. 15th and was welcomed by family, friends, and a large community.
Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum proclaimed Oct. 15th as “Officer Aurash Zarkeshan Day” in the city.
Zarkeshan had been recovering at an out-of-state rehabilitation facility after he shot during a traffic stop on June 29, the same shooting that killed Tulsa Police Sgt. Craig Johnson.
