TULSA, Okla. — In addition to Dr. Preston Phillips, three other innocent people lost their lives in Wednesday’s deadly shooting inside the Natalie Building on the campus of the Saint Francis Health System.

The three other shooting victims include another physician, 48-year-old Dr. Stephanie Husen and 40-year-old Amanda Glenn, a medical assistant.

In addition 73-year-old William Love, who police said was accompanying his wife, a patient, later died at the hospital after being shot.

“First to the families of our colleagues who were killed,” said Dr. Ryan Parker, St. Francis Associate Chief Medical Officer and ER Physician, “our hearts break for you.”

Dr. Stephanie Husen was a sports and internal medicine specialist with the Warren Clinic in Tulsa.

“She’s another one of the physicians that works in our Orthopedic Department,” said Dr. Cliff Robertson, the President and CEO of St. Francis Health System, “Stephanie is just, was an incredible person.”

OSU Center for Health Sciences shared that Dr. Husen, a native of Ponca City, had worked as a physical therapist before pursuing her medical degree from OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Husen graduated in 2004 with an emphasis on internal medicine and pediatrics followed by a fellowship in non-operative sports medicine.

Johnny Stephens, the President of OSU Center for Health Sciences shared a statement on Thursday which reads in part:

“Her zest for life was evident in how deeply she cared about her sports medicine patients, and her commitment to those she served will be greatly missed.”

The Saint Francis Health System is also mourning the loss of Amanda Glenn, who worked as a receptionist and had more than 18 years of experience working in the medical field.

“Amanda was, I think, had a supervisory role within the clinic,” said Dr. Robertson, “I mean the three best people in the entire world, that are, you know, the most committed to doing what they do every day and taking care of others didn’t deserve to die this way.”

A tribute shared on the Sandite High School Baseball Facebook page described Amanda Glenn as a devoted wife, mother and friend who served the baseball boys and coaches selflessly, adding that their baseball family is grieving alongside the family, and will be here to support them.

Her family says she was always had the brightest smile and kindest spirit. She is survived by her husband, Jonathan Glenn, and two sons, Gabe Glenn and Ian Glenn.

“To the family of Mr. Love, our hearts break for you,” said Dr. Parker during Thursday’s press conference.

William Love, 73, was a visitor Wednesday accompanying his wife, who was a patient.

In a post published to Facebook late Thursday afternoon, the Tulsa Police Department wrote that the William Love family wanted to share that at the time of shooting, William heard the gunshots and knew his wife would not be able to escape the building on her own.

They said he sacrificed his life for her. William Love, a retired Army First Sergeant with 27 years of service, was a brother, father, and great grandfather.

“We so wanted to be able to utilize our skills and training to save these precious lives,” Dr. Parker said during the press briefing, “to the family of Mr. Love I’m so sorry we couldn’t save you, we are grieving with you.”
