OKEMAH, Okla. — Ares Muse, the two-year-old boy whose body was found in Okfuskee County last week was laid to rest Monday.

FOX23 covered the search for Muse last week after his family reported him missing.

Investigators said they found his body not far from the family home.

The Muscogee Nation Lighthorse Police told FOX23 Tuesday they are still “actively investigating” Muse’s death.
