TULSA, Okla. — UPDATE — Chandler Fire Department confirmed that the fire has been contained. One eastbound lane has reopened, while all westbound lanes remain closed while the Chandler Fire Department cleans up and investigates the scene.

Eastbound and westbound lanes on Turner Turnpike towards Chandler, Okla. have been closed due to a semitruck fire.

Chandler Fire Department confirmed to FOX23 that a semitruck is on fire and fireworks were ignited in the blaze.

All traffic is halted on both sides of the highway while firefighters wait for fireworks to stop going off.

No injuries have been reported in the accident.
