Shae Rozzi, FOX23 News

Shae Rozzi is an award winning investigative journalist who anchors FOX23 News at 5, 6, 9 & 10 with Sara Whaley. She comes to Tulsa from the Cox Media Group flagship station WSB-TV in Atlanta, Georgia, where she worked for 6 months as a General Assignment Reporter and Fill-in Anchor before being promoted to Main Evening Anchor in Tulsa. Shae's first day on the job was the day of the Boston Marathon bombing. Shae traveled to Boston and reported on the response to the explosions and talked to runners from Oklahoma there during the tragedy. Shae spent the majority of her career at WTVD, the ABC owned station, in Raleigh, North Carolina. During her nearly 12 years in the Triangle area she worked as the Weekend Evening Anchor and focused on investigative reporting during the week. Some of the biggest stories Shae covered include the political corruption trial of former presidential candidate John Edwards and the Duke Lacrosse case. One of the most difficult stories for Shae was the massacre at Virginia Tech, her alma mater. Shae spent days covering the investigation and telling personal stories of students from North Carolina affected by the tragedy. Shae began her television career at WLUC in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and went on to anchor and report at WSLS in Roanoke, Virginia, before working in North Carolina, Georgia and now in Oklahoma. Shae has won multiple Emmy’s since joining the FOX23 News Team in 2013. But more important than awards for her work is the rewarding feeling she gets volunteering in the community. Shae has been a member of the Tulsa Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary since 2016 actively volunteering with the Angel Tree Program, Red Kettle bell ringing campaign and emceeing signature events. Shae also supports the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association by emceeing events throughout the year. Shae and her husband, daughter and three pugs love calling Oklahoma home. They love how friendly people are, how Oklahomans step up to help after every disaster and love living close to so many beautiful lakes.
