TULSA, Okla. — QUICK FACTS:
- Kira Arbuckle, owner of Tulsa AAAC Wildlife Removal brings a 1-year-old Marlboro, to Oral Roberts University campus to chase off geese.
- Arbuckle brings him to campus twice a day but soon it will go down to once a day and shorter periods of time once geese get the hint.
- ORU contacted her and said geese have been a problem on campus. Marlboro is a border collie, which means he mimics the body language and posture of a coyote or wolf, which are threats to geese.
- Arbuckle says geese recognize patterns, so she brings Marlboro to campus at different times of the day. She says it is a humane solution and geese don't get hurt. She is in contact with the City of Tulsa to utilize her services in other hard-hit geese areas of the city.
