How much?! Ticket prices for playoffs and Super Bowl LVII

The playoffs are set as the countdown to Super Bowl LVII is on.

The six matchups for the wild-card round of the playoffs kicks off Saturday. But as teams battle to make it to the Super Bowl berth Feb. 12, fans are battling to find tickets -- most paying hundreds of dollars to see their team play on one of football’s biggest stages.

What is a ticket going for? Here is a round up of prices starting with the wild-card round, which tends to be the cheaper tickets, all the way up to the Super Bowl.

Here’s what we found, as of Jan. 10.

AFC WILD CARD ROUNDS

In the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs (14-3) have a first-round bye as the No. 1 seed. They will host the lowest-seeded Wild Card round winner in the Divisional round

No. 7 Dolphins at No. 2 Bills (Sunday at 1 p.m. ET)

No. 6 Ravens at No. 3 Bengals (Sunday at 8:15 p.m. ET)

No. 5 Chargers at No. 4 Jaguars (Saturday at 8:15 p.m. ET)

NFC WILD CARD ROUNDS

In the NFC, the Philadelphia Eagles (14-3) have a first-round bye as the No. 1 seed. They will host the lowest-seeded Wild Card round winner in the Divisional round.

No. 7 Seahawks at No. 2 49ers (Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET)

No. 6 Giants at No. 3 Vikings (Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET)

No. 5 Cowboys at No. 4 Buccaneers (Monday at 8:15 p.m. ET)

Beyond the Wild Card rounds are the Divisional Playoff and the Conference Championship.

Although their opponents are unknown, the Chiefs and Eagles Divisional Round playoff tickets are also already on sale. Then come the Conference Championship games for the NFC and AFC, with the winners going to the Super Bowl.

The Super Bowl will be held on Feb. 12 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Although the teams are undecided, tickets are already selling for thousands of dollars. As of this writing, the cheapest ticket found for the Super Bowl is $4,661 via Vividseats. And that’s for a seat in the upper deck.

If you want something in the lower level of State Farm Stadium, be prepared to pay anywhere from $6,000 to $15,000.

Ticket prices are only expected to climb from here. Last year, the average cost of a Super Bowl ticket was $7,542 a seat, the costliest ever. Fortunately, you can also watch for FREE by tuning in to FOX23.
