The event was not held last year to behold the tree, reportedly due to COVID. But, according to DW Travel the tree is standing tall this year.
That brings us back to Enid, Okla.
Even at an impressive 113 feet, due to recent wind damage, Enid’s Christmas tree officially holds the title of the tallest 2021 Christmas tree in the United States of America.
Not so fast. Nicole Winfield, the Project Director of Enid’s Christmas tree begs to differ.
“Technically, the Christmas tree [in Germany] is made out of 1,700 individual spruce trees stacked together within a frame. So, we are still the tallest fresh cut live tree in the world!” Winfield stated.
