TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department says a 15-year-old boy is dead following an accidental shooting at a home in north Tulsa Sunday morning.
Police say officers responded to a shooting call at a house near North Harvard Avenue and East Pine Street at 1:06 a.m.
Police say the call came from a father who, after hearing a gunshot, found his son injured in their home.
Officers say the 15-year-old later died at the hospital.
Police say investigators found the victim’s younger sibling had gained access to a pistol and accidentally shot him.
No charges have been filed at this time and the investigation is ongoing. Police say additional details will be shared as information becomes available.
