We have updated information regarding a teenager who disappeared in Lake Tenkiller around 8 p.m. on Thursday.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol report the body of 18-year-old Cody Hancock was recovered on Friday close to where he was last seen.

Hancock disappeared after jumping from a 15-foot cliff into the lake. He struggled in the water after surfacing, before going under for good.

Other swimmers in the area attempted to help, but were unable to get to him.
