OKLAHOMA — Canoo Inc. has furloughed 82 employees, both hourly and salaried.

This decision has caused its factories in Oklahoma to idle as Canoo tries to find the funds to move forward with its operations.

“We regret having to furlough our employees, especially during the holidays, but we have no choice at this point,” said Canoo. “We are hopeful that we will be able to bring them back to work soon.”

The Texas-based advanced mobility company said they are in discussions with various capital sources.
