TULSA, Okla. — Officers with the Tulsa Police Department are passing out a reminder after a driver was pulled over for speeding.
In a Facebook post, the department says the driver of a Tesla was caught driving 83 miles per hour in a 35 mile per hour speed zone. The driver was pulled over along Riverside near the Gathering Place.
Hundreds of families and children are expected to be visiting the Gathering Place this week during Spring Break.
The driver didn’t just receive a ticket. They will now have to appear in court for aggravated speeding.
The Facebook post was posted just months after Tulsa police shared their plans for slowing down dangerous drivers across the city.
