EMSA is looking to hire new EMT’s, and they’re even offering free training.
EMSA spokesman Adam Paluka says the company realized they were spending quite a bit of money on out-of-state recruiting trips, so, he said, they decided it could be just as effective to put some of that money into training new EMT’s here in Oklahoma.
“So instead of doing all those recruiting trips, we’ve reinvested some of that money into having our own, in-house EMT school here in our facility in Tulsa,” he said.
It’s a fast-paced program. Even someone with no experience can become a full-fledged EMT in as little as 15 weeks.
The deadline for the upcoming class is on April 1st.
