Oklahoma Treasurer Ken Miller and crew are at the Tulsa State Fair this week with the "Pot of Gold" booth. One former crew member is not there, though. LaTisha Reid is a former internal auditor with the office.

She, and accused co-conspirators, are being arraigned this week on multiple counts of forgery, obtaining money by false pretenses, violation of the computer crimes act and conspiracy to defraud the state.

Multi-county indictments handed down last week allege that Reid used her state-owned computer in 2010 and 2011 to obtain nformation that her co-defendants could use to make fraudulent claims for money held by the state treasurer's unclaimed property fund.

The week before the indictments, we spoke with the treasurer about the unclaimed property fund, which holds some $350 million.

He says some 600,000 Oklahomans are owed the money that comes from unclaimed monies from utility companies, banks, safety deposit boxes and various other sources.

It is that money, which belongs to residents and taxpayers, the state says Reid, along with David Duane Edinburgh, Gina Dawn Sullivan and Shelly Rae Stejskal attempted to steal.

The indictments say more than $30,000 came up missing.
