TULSA, Okla. — The National Weather Service Office in Tulsa predicts the area will have a snow-covered Wednesday, in the Metro and all across Northeast Oklahoma.
NWS Meteorologist Robert Darby tells KRMG road conditions could be hazardous as a result of the snowfall.
“Snowfall can cause significant travel impacts. Expect snowfall anywhere from 4 to 6 inches.”
The snow is expected to start late Tuesday and most, if not all of Wednesday. We’re told it could stick around and impact travel on Thursday as well.
If snowfall does surpass 3 inches, it will be the most snowfall the Tulsa area has seen in over 6 years.
