On the coldest day of the season so far, today was probably the worst possible day to lose their main heating system, but that’s what happened at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa.

A spokesperson says its central heating system failed earlier today because of a hardware problem.

So far, there’s no word on when the problem is expected to be fixed, but the spokesperson says portable heating units have been deployed all around the hospital and that all patients, visitors, and staff are safe and comfortable.
