Two men are accused of breaking into the Promenade Mall around 5:00 a.m. this morning, where Tulsa Police say they subsequently broke into Abby’s Jewelry.

Derrick Jones and Clayton Randolph are accused of taking tens of thousands of dollars worth of loot in just a few minutes inside the store.

Police say an officer happened to be in the area as they fled the mall parking lot in a vehicle.

After a pursuit to the 31st and Memorial vicinity, the suspects bailed out of the vehicle but were caught after a foot chase.

Police say both men are in their 50′s and are from California.

Oddly, police say the two were wearing dress clothes, button-up shirts and slacks.

They say they don’t know why the men were in Tulsa or why they targeted that particular mall and store.
