Tulsa Police nabbed a couple of suspected copper thieves, accused of hitting two different midtown churches in two days.
Police say early Tuesday morning, Christopher Wroten and Michael Elkins stripped copper from multiple A/C units at a church near 46th and Darlington.
Then, early Wednesday morning, police say the pair did the same thing at a church near 48th and Fulton.
The amount of copper loss and damages in the two crimes is estimated to be $200,000.
Court records show both men are convicted felons and have served prison time for various crimes.
Wroten has a past conviction for Entering with Intent to Steal Copper.
