Voters will decide a handful of key local elections on April 6 in Oklahoma.

The votes Tuesday will include multiple district boards of education seats, statutory municipal elections and special elections.

In Broken Arrow, city council seats are on the line with Ward One incumbent Debra Wimpee facing off with Cathy Smythe and Jonathon Kelly. The Ward Two race matches current mayor and incumbent Craig Thurmond with Lisa Ford.

Bixby voters will decide on $28 million in bond propositions including the building of a new fire station and ambulance building.

In Creek County voters will be asked to approve a one penny sales tax increase to buy new equipment and upgrades for more than a dozen fire departments there.

The Oklahoma State Board of Election will have election results posted here after 7 p.m. on Election Night.
