River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa will reopen June 1st

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa’s River Spirit Casino Resort officials say the’re reopening on June 1st along with other Muscogee (Creek) Nation casinos.

River Spirit announced its reopening on social media Thursday.

“Please rest assured our primary focus is the health and safety of our team members and patrons,” River Spirit’s post says.

The following safety guidelines were announced by the casino:

  • River Spirit will follow Health Services approved sanitation procedures
  • Temperatures will be scanned before entering. Guests with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will not be permitted.
  • Masks are suggested for all guests and are available at Players Club upon request.
  • Please practice social distancing and maintain 6ft. apart.
  • Please wash hands often and utilize hand sanitizing stations through the property.
  • Please sanitize game before each use or request assistance from a Team Member.

The casinos will officially open to the public at 10 am on Monday,June 1.

Officials suspended operations on March 16th as a precaution to guidelines issued by the National Center for Disease Control.

Muscogee (Creek) Nation Casinos and River Spirit Casino Resort maintained its payroll and benefits for its 2,200 employees throughout the 12 week closure.
