Update
Severe storms are possible for areas on the northwest side of Tulsa for this afternoon and evening.
Areas southeast of Tulsa will have better chances for severe storms late today and again tomorrow.
News On Six Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer says a complex weather pattern is evolving for today that will cause severe storms to form to the west of Tulsa and spread east with time.
Large hail and damaging winds are likely.
He says the tornado threat is more limited.
Target areas for highest tornado chances will be from near Oklahoma City to Enid to Wichita, Kansas and gradually moving northeast into Osage county in the northwest part of our area.
We’ve had a nice few days here in Tulsa, but don’t expect that to last.
News on 6 WARN Team chief meteorologist Travis Meyer tells us we can expect a major change in our forecast in the next few days.

Wednesday night will see a 50% chance of showers with wind gusts up to 25mph.
A chance of showers and thunderstorms remains in our forecast through Sunday night.
