A Tulsa neighborhood is picked as one of the top ten in the nation.  The American Planning Association has named Swan Lake as one of the best neighborhoods for 2011.

The APA singled out Swan Lake for both manmade and natural beauty.  That of course includes Swan Lake itself but Cherry Street along with its farmers’ market, Utica Square and other nearby amenities helped the neighborhood stand out above the rest.

APA CEO Paul Farmer says “This idyllic neighborhood has remained true to its middle class roots for more than 80 years.” “It’s picture-postcard setting, charming housing and centers of employment” were also cited by Farmer.
