Tulsa, Okla. — Tulsa businessman Kevin Stitt will represent the Republicans in the upcoming race for Governor of Oklahoma.
He says he wants to unify Oklahoma for a bold new future.
“I think (Oklahoma) is going to be a place that other states look to and say ‘this is what’s possible’ but to get there we’re going to make some tough decisions over the next couple of years,” Stitt said after his win Tuesday night.
Former Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett said he is stepping back from the political world.
Cornett said you won't be seeing his name on another ballot again.
