TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Police have arrested a suspect in the city’s second homicide of 2025.
Jason Lynn was arrested in connection to the murder of Alan Underwood Jr. who was found dead in the snow last Friday.
TPD said Lynn was found staying in a homeless encampment near 5th and Utica, which was just four blocks from the crime scene. Lynn was detained and brought in for questioning.
Lynn confessed to a physical altercation with Underwood. The injuries that Underwood sustained during the altercation were severe enough to cause his death, according to TPD.
Lynn was arrested for murder and is currently being held on an FBI hold since he falls under the McGirt ruling. He will be prosecuted in either Tribal or Federal court.
