A fight and a foot chase leaves a Tulsa police officer with a severe injury to his leg.

Police had pulled over Osakue Bandele, who they say is a gang member with a criminal history and is well known to police.

They say he started fighting with police and took off running.

That's when the officer injured his leg.

“He'll at least be charged today with assault and battery on a police officer for his actions from the fight and foot pursuit,” said Tulsa Police Lt. Demetrios Treantafeles.

They eventually found Bendele hiding on top of a shed.

They say he'll face at least assault and battery charges.
