KRMG has told you for years about Tulsa undercover officers using Backpage.com to arrest prostitutes and pimps.

The FBI seized the website about a month ago, so that avenue has dried up.  However, the vice unit has learned to adapt their methods.

A supervisor tells us the public has been learning about human trafficking and that has helped their cause.

“The more education people get about this issue, the more it will be reported to us, rather than us having to go out and find it in an undercover investigation,” the supervisor said.

Undercover officers have also been targeting local massage parlors.
