TULSA — Tulsa police announced Friday that they tracked down a suspect in Dallas after they say he violently robbed an elderly woman.
Police released video of the assault at Woodland Hills Mall after it happened in November.
The 90-year-old woman suffered a broken arm and facial injuries from the assault.
Officers say 20-year-old Karmelo Shannon noticed the woman putting a large amount of cash into a bitcoin machine, threw her to the ground and took the money.
Shannon was arrested Thursday by the Dallas Police Department Gang Unit.
After Karmelo was arrested, Mingo Valley Street Crimes arrested his girlfriend Markena Davis for Harboring.
