Warren Theaters expected to bring retail growth to Broken Arrow

Warren Theaters under construction in Broken Arrow (Russell Mills)

The massive $40 million luxury movie theater is currently under construction on 121st Street (Tucson Street) and 145th East Avenue (Aspen Avenue).

Drivers on the Creek Turnpike have been able to keep tabs on the build that’s expected to be completed this November. City leaders in Broken Arrow say the addition of the theater should bring a huge retail and restaurant presence to Aspen Creek.

B.A.’s Economic Development Coordinator Norm Stephens says he expects a growth similar to that of what happened on the north side of Broken Arrow when Bass Pro Shops was built.

“You’re going to see nice sit down restaurants and you’re going to see retail options.” Stephens said.

He continued, “You’re going to see more residential down there, more apartments, businesses and a lot more people.”

Construction on the Warren Theaters started in September of 2013. The 18-screen, 150,000 Sq. Ft. facility is expected to complete this November.
