"I believe that there is no such thing as racial equality,” Robert Ransdell said.

Ransdell is a write-in candidate for the Senate in Kentucky. He has also been tied to the KKK.

The Louisville Courier-Journal reports Ransdell isn't backing down from the signs, or his message.

"I am absolutely chomping at the bit going forward with my campaign,” they say he wrote on a white supremacist website.

“Only about a month until I am on the air, mainstream radio, primed to start a legitimate 'conversation' about race, as in a racially conscious White man letting loose on the problems we face, that so many of our people are beginning to wake up to," he continued.

WLW-TV reports some who see the signs quickly denounced them.

“It's ignorance. Complete ignorance and hate, Drea told them. “I could drive by it and act like oh whatever it's just some idiot but when does one idiot become 20.”

Ransdell has said he understands he won’t win, but he wants to use the forum to put forth his beliefs.
