TULSA, Okla. — UPDATE, 6/1/2022: Burkhalter has been sentenced to three consecutive life sentences plus 35 years.
Keenan Burkhalter has been found guilty of a 2018 triple murder and arson, Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office said.
Burkhalter was arrested in October 2018 and charged with shooting three people to death and setting their north Tulsa home on fire.
One of the victims was a seven-year-old girl.
Andrew Conard is another suspect in the case and was also arrested in October 2018. Conard testified against Burkhalter during the trial earlier this week.
During the investigation in 2018, Tulsa Police Homicide Lt. Watkins told FOX23 the investigation was a horrific case.
The jury recommended life without parole for each murder, and 35 years for arson.
