TULSA, Okla. — QUICK FACTS:

  • New laws regarding paperwork carried in you car go into effect July 1.
  • On July 1, Oklahoma drivers will be required to carry vehicle registrations with them in the car. The registration proves that the drivers tag was paid for.
  • Starting July 1, drivers will keep their car tag after selling cars.
  • Tulsa police announced that they will be focusing on expressway safety and closely monitor drivers in July.
  • Officers say there will be no warnings given for drivers caught speeding. Tickets range from $150 to $500.
