CLAREMORE, Okla. — Rogers County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) said they’ve seized drugs, guns and a grenade launcher from a property after a shooting in Inola.
It happened late on Thursday night and into the early hours of Friday morning.
Drugs, guns and cash – that’s what RCSO deputies found when they searched a travel trailer east of Claremore and arrested three men and a woman.
“We’ve got several individuals off the street that need to be,” said Rogers County Sheriff Scott Walton.
Deputies carried out the bust after being called out to reports of a drive-by shooting where three shots were fired at a house in Inola.
Deputies were on the look out for Justin Boyce in connection with that shooting and stopped him after they spotted him driving his car.
After searching the vehicle, deputies said they found drugs but not the handgun used in the shooting. So, they got a search warrant for a trailer where they knew Boyce stayed.
In the trailer, deputies found a grenade launcher, two handguns and two rifles, which they say were set out in a tactical arrangement.
They also said there were security cameras all over the property.
“As law enforcement so often you’re detected by the enemy before you know you’re detected so, it poses as a threat to that,” Walton said.
Large amount of cash, meth, mushrooms, marijuana and fentanyl pills were also found.
“When you take, I don’t care how many pills, if you take a fentanyl pill off the street you think, maybe you saved a life….then you put weapons with that and I think everybody would agree this is a cocktail from Hell,” said Walton.
Boyce was arrested for receiving stolen property, being a felon in possession of a firearm, possessing a firearm while committing a felony and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies also arrested three other people who were at the trailer: Roger, Rodney and Kathy Nees for, amongst other offenses, receiving stolen property.
Walton said the investigation is continuing as they think this could be connected to other drug activity/
