The heavy metal band’s performance at Ak-Chin Pavilion was stopped for nearly 30 minutes after fans allegedly set fire to a stack of lawn chairs and formed a circle pit around the blaze, The Arizona Republic reported.

Firefighters said the blaze was a debris fire, KNXV reported.

The pavilion was hosting the Knotfest Roadshow when the fire broke out, KSAZ reported.

The heavily costumed band was playing “All Out Life” near the end of their set, when the blaze began to rise as high as 20 feet, the Republic reported. The delay forced the band to cut “Duality” and “Spit It Out” from the playlist, the newspaper reported.

In a statement, a Phoenix Fire Department spokesperson said, “The fire was thoroughly extinguished without any extension to the major structure and no injuries were reported at the incident. The exact cause of the fire is currently under investigation and no persons were displaced at this incident.”
