TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Police arrested Brett Chamberlain on Monday. He is accused of breaking into and stealing from numerous cars between August and December. Police told FOX23 he would usually shatter the glass of a window and take everything in sight.

Investigators said he broke into cars all over the Tulsa metro area.

He was arrested during a traffic stop after his car was flagged by the Flock Security system.

Police originally put the vehicle description in their system after seeing it in multiple videos of car break-ins. Investigators said they had Chamberlain tied to 15 burglaries at the time, but they have connected him to more after he was pulled over.

In his car, investigators said they found enough evidence of stolen property to tie him to 34 reports. They are still looking to locate 27 other victims. Police explained that this means Chamberlain could be tied to 60 cases.

Investigators also said they found fentanyl and a handgun in his possession during the traffic stop.

He is charged with multiple counts of burglary, but he is a tribal citizen. His case will be turned over to federal jurisdiction.
