Sand Springs Police release names of couple involved in murder-suicide

SAND SPRINGS, Okla. — Sand Springs Deputy Police Chief Todd Enzbrenner released a statement with the names of the people involved in a murder-suicide this past weekend.
The Sand Springs Police Department responded to a report of a murder-suicide early Sunday morning, and Enzbrenner said, a family member received a call from the male in the home before she called police.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found 72-year old Cynthia Toliver, and 74-year old Brad Toliver dead from single gunshot wounds. The family dogs had also been killed in the same manner.
Police said, based on the evidence, it appears Brad Toliver allegedly shot Cynthia Toliver and the pets, and then turned the gun on himself. Enzbrenner said there is no indication of any ongoing threat to the public.
